lasik eye surgery in tacoma
What is LASIK Eye Surgery?
LASIK (Laser Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis) eye surgery is a procedure that reshapes the surface of the eye so that light entering the eye can be focused onto the back of the eye, treating near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism. This is achieved using a computer-guided excimer laser that pulses 500 times per second. In most cases, the procedure takes roughly 10 minutes and is virtually pain-free.
Puget Sound Vision is different
Our goal at Puget Sound Vision is to provide you with the best possible experience and outcomes for your eyes. If LASIK is the best option for your eyes, we will see that you get the best possible result. If we believe that surgery is not a good option for you, we will not recommend it.
Unlike many other LASIK centers, our surgeon personally conducts the preoperative testing as well as the postoperative care. We at Puget Sound Vision employ the newest technologies to evaluate your eyes, and use the most advanced treatment devices for your LASIK surgery. Our surgeon has decades of experience not only evaluating and performing LASIK, but also performing enhancement surgeries performed by other surgeons.
